This year went by extremely fast. I can’t say I accomplished everything intended within the past 365 days but here’s hoping for another 365 days to achieve them all. I do have a new list of favorites to share. Starting with a new deep conditioning hair mask. Last year, I mentioned the T. G. I. N. hair mask as my favorite of 2018 but once the price of the product increased ($18), I quickly began to look for another I’d be just as impressed with at a lower cost. Enter Carols Daughter Almond Milk ultra nourishing hair mask. This stuff is amazing. It makes my hair feel so soft. Once applied, detangling is a smooth process. A little goes a long way as well. One bottle can last me 4 washes. At my local Target it cost an average $12.
My next favorite of the year is on the pricey side but last a long time. It’s Neutrogena hydro boost water gel ($16). When my pockets can afford it, I get this moisturizer and apply it every morning. I love how well it keeps my face smooth and fresh looking through out the day.
This year I went back to my roots with my facial cleanser and purchased the classic Noxzema. It is a staple part of my cleansing routine today and has become one of my favorite products of 2019. Over the summer, I had a really bad breakout. Since the outbreak made my face resemble its youthful blemished appeal, I grab the cleanser used during those golden days. Noxzema is a classic. When rubbed in and generously applied it leaves my skin feeling free of the dirt and oils that clog.
One final mention is this face mask, L’Oréal pure-clay. While most face mask work equally the same, in my opinion, I just love how tight my skin feels after using this product.
Until my next blog; Living joyously,
Alisia Latoi
